Put everyone's name on a strip of paper, just make sure all of the strips are the same size load the strips into a barrel and shoot up into the air any strips that land with the name facing up get loaded in for round two repeats until you have one winner

I think we have a winner. I laughed out loud when I read that 😂 Send me your info and I'll get things moving along.

Since that isn't particularly feasible as there is only one bus stop near me with a shelter and no trains (plus that whole vandalism thing) I'll be going with the second choice for the next giveaway. There were some great ideas thrown out- I'll need to remember this next time.
