Akin to the gladiator battles of olde, I, Caesar Bellicose, doth decree a fight to the death in the spirit of Walzmas. You, patricians of MCB, will chose your champion to fight on your behalf. Choose wisely, as you only have one life to spare in the mortal combat. The arena will be one from my childhood. As I lay bored upon my bed one rainy day, I spied a bag of Skittles sitting atop my dresser. I began to press the colorful sweets together until one gave way, a smashed mess. I had my pawns battle again and again, setting aside the victors, so that they may combat each other in the end. Thus, a battle of death and victory was born. I guess I wasn't alone, as I have discovered that others have done this in their youth.
To enter the battle to the death, you must be any color but blue (consider joining up!). Next, state the color you wish your champion to be (standard Skittles colors of Red, Orange, Purple, Green, and Yellow). I will draft a tournament bracket where each will fight on the 16th of December. To keep things consistent, I will use the "S" side of the Skittles facing each other. I will then photograph the deathmatch, so that you all may spectate the gore and cheer on your champion.
What kind of tournament would it be without spoils? To the winner, I'll fill a box and ship it to you, from items around my garage. Much will be paintball related: at least one whole gun (working? maybe...maybe not), various parts, and a few non paintball related surprises. Could it be a half bottle of ketchup? A melted tub of icecream? Saw dust? Who knows?! You will also be blessed with the greatest gift of them all, your chosen warrior, now champion.
Round 1 - Champions were chosen, and the first round is over, with many casualties. I picked them most standardized shape from the package as possible. Thankfully, there were no more orange contenders, because the last one was super deformed. Next round, is the battle of the remaining reds, Xemon and SuperAtomic, as well as a purple on purple of shooter311 and Jonnydread!
Round 2 - With a crazy upset, only one gladiator that had a first round bye survived. Was it the additional experience that helped these warriors? At with the end of this round, all green have been defeated.
Round 3 - And in an instant, the purple tide has crashed. With his last ounce of strength, Super Nova mortally wounded Jonnydread. The last purple has a crack forming there on the right. I don't think he's going to make it to the next round.
Round 4 - And then there were two. The field is littered with corpses and the fragments of the defeated. Will it be red or orange that prevails?
Round 5 - The winner of the first Walzmas Deathmatch is...CELLOPHANE!!!!
