For far too long have I been longing to fully join in the merriment of Walzmas season, that pesky Atlantic Ocean being the party pooper. Again... I have tried to mooch off all you generous people, from time to time, until the shame of not contributing became too much to bear.
Speaking of bear, in order to mitigate my shame, I am this year making my grand entry into the contributing party of Walzmas. But what about the aforementioned bear? Oh, the connection is elementary - as in the very, very cold elements. This Walzmas giveaway is $100 store credit with MCBs favorite airsmith and know it all - Doc. Get it? Bear? Cold elements? Alaska and all that? OK, I'll get my coat. Which is entirely appropriate due to the cold. Eh? Eh? ..no..?
*cough* Anyway, yes, as mentioned one lucky member will win $100 in store credit. That way I can contribute to the cheerfulness of Walzmas, and at the same time support Doc without having to deal with international shipping and customs for either. This is cleared with Doc already, so it will be completely up to the winner what to use the credit for.
But wait - that's not all. In fact, you could say that it’s only half of it. Down to the very cent actually. Those $100 that a lucky winner was going to win turned out to be $200. You see, Doc - the sneaky underhand bastard that he is - upstaged me at my own giveaway. Yep, for real. Can you believe the brass balls of it? He gratuitously pledged $100 from his own pocket to my giveaway, just to make me look merely half as generous as I tried to present myself. Surely that must be the only plausible explanation. In any case - the grand prize is $200 store credit with Doc for one lucky winner.
So how do you enter? Simple - a lot of you have already entered. This giveaway will be open for everyone who have at least one Walzmas giveaway of their own this Walzmas. I'll wait until Christmas day before I close the giveaway, to give as many late comers as possible a chance. The actual draw will be several days later when I have recounted the entries enough times to get them right. The draw will be a simple randomized draw, with whatever convenient tool I come across, such as an online random number generator.
Entrants will get one entry per Walzmas giveaway this season. Green and above members will get one extra entry. Every blue member is also included in a bonus draw of one year of sweet green membership. In order to make it easier for myself, I will subtract one entry for anyone not writing a post in this thread that they are in. So, if you are reading this, you are probably not bummed out that you had one entry removed. Even better - if you have never even seen this thread, you still might win. I.e., a green member with one Walzmas giveaway will still get one entry.
Please feel free to post any questions in the thread. If you thought something was unclear, chances are somebody else thought so too.
