    Walzatron day 4

    2) jpdgas (JG)

JG is running for his life. He thought he had a great spot to snipe from but after an explosion that came out of nowhere, the tire yard he was looking over caught fire. Now he is running from the tire service tech who thinks it's JGs fault the whole tire yard is currently burning. JG already spun and crouched down firing one shot that went directly under the man's shoulder, past his armpit only missing him by a hairs breath. Now he is lucky if he can barely aim, Timmy the tire tech is closing in. JG is slinging FSR at him to keep him at bay. JG sees a warehouse and gets an idea, darts inside and glances around, finds what he was looking for and darts into the office. Timmy the tire tech chases after him, sees the office door closing and charges forward. Blasting through the door with his spyder compact Timmy's momentum carries him forward even through the impact of an FSR on his side. JG didn't hide somewhere in the office, he knelt down right next to the entry door and waiting for Timmy to come barreling through. Timmy’s limp body collides with the desk in the room. Splitting it in two. JG takes a few breaths, be hadn't had to do that much running since he had to flee out of his highschool girlfriend Jenny's window when her father found the two of then working on anatomy homework. There's no FSR on Timmy but JG didn't expect there would be anyway.

MB has been trying to hack the computer in the security office. The key to the page he is on is a sudoku puzzle. He copied it onto a piece of paper and is working on it when he drops his pen. Bending down to pick it up he hears the door open. He snatches his phantom leaning up against the desk and springs up already firing. He pumps like crazy covering the opening frame to frame. When his hopper runs dry MB dumps a new pod in and looks through the door, there's another security guard on the ground, covered in paint. Closing the door MB returns to his puzzle. Can't be a 5,7 or 8….

    17) Jonnydread (JD)

Alas there will be no more morph'n for that ranger. Instead of crying in his beer SN decides to drink them, maybe 6, but pours a sip on the ground for his homie. His sweet gilled 98 is way to rad to get tossed into the harbor and besides SN is way too much of a hoarder to actually throw anything paintball away. After downing his 6 pack in sorrow and remembering Barney, he gets a little angry and goes to look for other childhood actor to take his feelings out on.

oh heavens, I love a good pile of small tires. JD says, to no one in particular. plus i love the smell of propane in the morning. But there's no time to find accessories so time to kill: attack.

JD and SN both come into…the trampoline storage section? Of the yard. It looks like a shipment of preassembled trampolines was left forgotten and some other stuff got shoved in with them. JD sees SN first and opens up with both barrels of his ma-duece-a. SN is no slouch though and immediately returns fire. Both are running and jumping from trampoline to trampoline. A trampoline on its side provides an opportunity for a bouncy shot but SN is too slow to make it work, it may be that 6 pack slowing him down just a bit. JD tries crawling under a few trampolines but SN is not staying in one spot long enough for that to work. Each of them dump a pod in and continue to push. JD throws a string at where he thinks SN will jump to next but then has to dodge out of the way as return fire comes his way. Another pod goes in for each. This firefight is consuming a lot of paint on both sides. JD tries a flying backflip between two trampolines while shooting, all misses. SN tries to skip over one whole trampoline to cover ground faster but he can't quite get an edge on JD. A shipping container sits between them. SN and JD both dump another pod in. While jumping they are playing a strange game of whack a mole with themselves both being the malot and the mole. SN jumps to the trampoline to his left, bounces up and fires a string but JD emerges 2 trampolines to SNs left. JD sees where SN is and transfers 2 trampolines over, jumps up but now SN has moved as well! SN reaches back grabs a pod and realizes with horror. This is his last one! Dumping it in her figures he better make it count, forget this whack a mole, he is going around this container and finishing this odd game. JD dumps a pod in and realizes he only has 2 left! This firefight is costing him way too much paint. It's time to beat feet. JD gets ready to jump again but then has a thought and turns to his left, towards the end of the cargo container where he sees a shadow on the ground! JD starts pumping paint at the end of the container. SN sees the first shot sail by the corner of the container just before he comes around it. Thinking fast SN opens the container door and rotates it around the side so it can be a swinging shield. The door starts ringing as JDs paint impacts it. SN doesn't bother looking, he sticks his m98 around the door and starts firing. Those continues for 10 seconds before the shots on the door decrease and SN remembers that this was his last pod. He shakes his marker and hears one last ball rattling around. He thinks, “better save that one for a real emergency" JDs shots on the door have stopped, SN lowers his m98 *pak* what the? SN realizes he must have accidentally pulled the trigger, but what's that…..SN looks down to his horror and realizes…that paintball impacted his own foot. Bending down he tries to strip his shoe off but he realizes it's already too late. These crock's are comfortable but there's just too many holes in them to stop all the paint from getting through. Collapsing on the ground SNs only regret is that he never found the childhood character he really wanted to see covered in paint…Buffy the vampire slayer

    6) The Hobbit (TH)

After that blockbuster cinema level action, The Hobbit wanders off. After a time he comes to a warehouse labeled “1980s sidekicks”. TH has always wanted a sidekick, I mean who doesn’t. Slipping in through the comically oversized side door TH is immediately greeted by flashing lights and the proclamation “Danger Will Robinson”. Shaking his head, TH ducks down a different aisle and looks for a useful companion. Passing by a rack labeled T-100 TH gets excited until he sees that the T-100 requires some assembly and pieces appear missing. Beside that was a mason jar labeled T-1000, clearly not enough there.

Coming from a back corners, TH hears the unmistakable sound of Wall-E with attitude, the great guerrilla robot and some say sauve ladies bot, Number 5 from the 1986 hit “Short Circuit” As TH approaches he hears Johnny say “Life is just one big short circuit waiting for a punchline!” which doesn’t make a lot of sense for the situation but the robot has been cooped up since the last sequel. TH shouts “Hey robolips, wanna get out of this warehouse? Then suit up and let’s roll”

With the new partner in crime TH heads off to find the next thing to attack.

Johnny and TH roll through the yard, minding their own business. Johnny says “incoming data file! List of security clearance holders level 68 and higher! N. Furry, level 68, F. Rogers, level 72, C. Norris level 99.” " Ok Johnny, save it for later." TH wonders what Johnny is going on about, he looks at Johnny's metal casing and sees movement in the reflection in his eyes. TH jumps to the side as a steam of paint flies in. TH hears the *ting ting* sound of the paint impacting Johnny as he scurries behind some nearby pallets. He looks around, his attacker is dumping in a pod and gets behind cover. TH pokes around the pallet but just before he starts shooting he has to pull back. Johnny is on a rampage! He plows into the pallet TH is behind. TH has to transfer to another pallet, he looks around and sees Johnny, the pain over losing his sidekick is almost too much. TH aims towards Johnny and fires a burst. Johnny stops and his arms wave around. “Download conflict! Shutdown commencing" NOOOO!!!! TH turns his attention to the original attacker. Not caring who he is. TH unleashes a barrage of paint, sprinting up to his pallets and bunkering him. TH landed 3 on him on the way up. He looks down at the guy, reaches behind him, grabs a pod and dumps it in his hopper…. Then unloads his hopper straight into the guy again. And then gives him a kick for good measure. The guy flips over with the kick and TH snags two pods from his pack. Still pissed he has nothing left here and moves on.

    7) Cdn_Cuda (CC)

desperately searching for a safe and polite spot to drain the snake, CC pee dances his way across the hoping to find a shrub, a tree, or a car tire….heck even a fire hydrant will do! In the distance, just at the edge of the field he sees what could be a lone port-potty and starts to head in that direction. Traumatized from using his local paintball field’s P-O-P he hopes this one is in better condition…. That is until the smell hits him. If felt like being slapped in the face with a rotten salmon but smelled so much worse. Oh dear lord….

CC is desperate though, he takes a deep breath, plugs his nose, grabs the door and…it won't budge. THERE'S A PADLOCK ON IT!?!? WHO? WHY? AAAARRRGGGGG! CC has some very USA thoughts for whoever locked the honey bucket. He looks to his left, there's a building! There's got to be a toilet in there! He races inside, literally bouncing off the walls smashing into anything in his path. He glances down a hallway, WAIT!!! What was that little blue sign?!? CC scampers back it's a bathroom! A glorious, unlocked bathroom! CC is pinching off the firehose at this point as he smashes into the door to open it, hearing pieces hit the ground as it opens. He finds a toilet and unleashes a stream that would make Mortimer proud. 3 songs from the overhead speakers later CC is washing his hands. As he goes to leave he sees a 3 way sitting on the ground by the door, he opens the door and finds a LPR. Wait, CC grabs his ma-duece-a, those were his pieces! The ASA must have been knocked to off and what he thought were pieces of the door hitting the ground were actually pieces of his marker! No no no! His bathroom rampage destroyed his marker! What is he going to do now how *brrring* CC looks up at the strange sound. Oh…. It's a vending machine across from the bathroom.

Having thoroughly searched Suzie's junk food drawer and investigated just about everything in there, just to make sure it doesn't contain any paint XM moved on to a few other cubicles. All the computers in the cubicles are displaying a list of people with security clearance at level 68 or higher. Pausing at the water cooler for a much needed thirst quench XM asks the cooler “hey you know this office pretty well, know where there's any pods I can snag?" *Glug* “ok thanks Buddy I'll check there" as XM turns to leave he hears an anguished scream. “WHO'S BEEN IN MY DRAWERS!?!?" oh boy. Looks like Suzie came back. XM looks around for a hiding spot but only has time to dive into a nearby cubicle as Suzie sees him in the aisle and starts throwing paint from her modified oil slick pm7. Paint is slamming into the cubicle walls XM waits and his moment comes then Suzie has to eventually dump a pod in. He pops up and starts flinging paint back, soon it's a snap battle. XM has just enough time to climb over a wall to the next row of cubicles. He pops up just in time to catch Suzie shooting at the cubicle he just left, he plants two on her and as she collapses he takes a sigh of relief. This adventure is stressful.

GD is still hoping for some sweet wheels but he has given up on the car lot. Turns out all the keys are locked up somewhere he hasn't found. The only vehicle he has seen with keys is a forklift that was driving away from a huge explosion but it passed so fast he didn't have a chance to see what the deal was or if he could steal it. As it turns out GD does find some wheels, but wheels are all he finds. The wheel yard has all the wheels GD could ever want, as he makes his way towards his favorite, the spinners, he bends down to check out a particularly flashy wheel. As he does paintballs fly through the space his head was in. EC can't believe his bad luck, he had the perfect shot lined up! GD sprints to a different stack of wheels, gross, off road bead locks. He spins and fires at EC. EC was ready though and it's already in cover. EC waits for his moment, snaps up and…watches as the whole body of his marker launches off across the yard. He is left dumb struck just holding the frame of his ion. He pulls the trigger hoping against hope that it's some kind of bad dream but the air hissing out of his frame tells another story. GD saw the whole thing happen but is still cautious. Making sure to keep his ion up he runs towards EC. EC makes a break for it! Might as well try, GD is having none of it though and puts a steam straight into ECs back unfortunately hitting his pod pack as well. EC hits the ground and GD checks. There's one pod that managed to escape getting splattered. GD snags it and makes his way off to his next adventure.

    18) Glovebox Operator (GO)

With Jeffery's sick new smoke paint job, and looking more menacing than ever, GO finds a grinder and sharpens the forks to add to the fearsome nature of GO's only friend. A board just wide enough to span the forks should make a nice perch in case he needs a snipers nest or to scope out the unknown road ahead. Now he wished he weren't so drunk at new employee orientation so he knew anything about where he is and what was going on. Why had no one stopped him yet? Last time he did this at work he got fired before he could ride that crappy pallet jack out of the warehouse. Thinking back to the board, he knew not to piss off the OSHA guy, so he secured it with 2 pieces of used duct tape that he pretended were the steel toes on his boots. Good to go! "Come here AI! I'm gonna ram my forks straight through your mainframe!" That Coke machine never stood a chance, but now it was stuck. Crap, how did the happen again? No matter, let's go find something else to demolish.

GO rams Jeffrey’s forks into another junk car, lifts it and dumps it, nothing can stand in his way, if something moves he shoots at it with his etha. So far he hasn't actually hit anyone but that's besides the point! Jeffrey picks up another car and as he does the fuel tank falls out. GO shoots it because it moved…. But then gets an idea. He finds another car, that he doesn't shoot it's older with a steel bumper, rips the bumper off and then takes out the fuel tank, fuel pump and battery. With his favorite OSHA approved duct tape GO affixes the pumper to Jeffrey's roof, so the curved ends point up, tapes the fuel tank in the middle and runs the fuel line to either end of the bumper and finally runs electrical wires to the fuel pump and to spark at either end of the bumper. He wires the whole contraption to Jeffrey's horn and tests it out.

He may have wasted some paint in his digging around but, sharpened forks, smoke paint job and now metal horns that shoot fire? Where's that OSHA inspector? He is going to wet his pants when he sees Jeffrey.

    19) Heavy_D (HD)
    20) martix_agent (MA)

HD and MA find themselves in a colossal warehouse. They can each hear the other one walking around, sometimes opening boxes but the problem is the echos in the warehouse go everywhere so neither one can get an estimate on where the other is. After a while a game of Marco Polo starts up and they are each trying to both find and not be found. The game suddenly stops when they hear a door open and slam. Since they are both clearly trying to hunt each other, leaving the warehouse seems unlikely, so who opened the door? There's a whir sound that continues. MA and HD are both nervous and keeping their eyes peeled. MA is up on a pallet shelf, on the second level. He looks down and spots the noise maker. It's a robot vacuum, MA lines up a shot, *pak* but the shot misses! Lands in front and to the left of the robot, as MA aims again, blaming the smaller barrel for throwing off his muscle memory the vacuum stops, sees the paint and turns slightly left to clean it up. MA figures he will see what happens. The robot rolls right over the paint and brushes it up then unceremoniously stops dead. “Will that was anticlimac…" the robot starts to beep and spin in circles, it's noises getting faster and louder. " Crap it's gonna blow!” MA rolls off the other side of the pallet rack, landing on the hard concrete below and covers his head. HD hears all the commotion, hears the beeps getting faster and higher pitched and turning into a solid tone. Suddenly the tone stops and the doors down the aisle burst open, a multitude of robots roll, walk, bounce and fly into the warehouse. Neither HD or MA have time to think, it's marker up and laying paint time. MA Downs a walker as he gets up to run. HD puts paint on an electric wheelchair. MA hits an overhead drone. HD paints a delivery robot. The action continues for 2 solid minutes before finally the last robot is a cyber truck which has gotten stuck in the door frame trying to get into the warehouse. Both MA and HD have to reload but all is quiet once again.

Fiery new persona check, fierce fork fangs check, warpaint check. These giant googly eyes in the glovebox should probably go on Jefferys counterweight to ward off any predators approaching from behind. With an underwhelming beep of the horn but an overwhelming conflagration from the horns the duo set off to save the world. Wait, is that rain? We're inside, how is this happening? Some sort of AI trickery, did the roof get uninstalled? Oh no, he'd done it again, he'd set off the fire sprinklers. Frank said he was going to get fired if he did that 2 more times, only one strike left, better not mess this up, this was the best job he'd every had. Hopefully this didn't mean people would have an easier time wiping off GOs brilliantly placed shots. Better get out of here before those shambling shadows off in the distance get any closer. Why weren't they moving? The throttle has floored. Oh no! The water and paint were too slick to gain any traction. The AI's minions marched closer. Looks like they were in for a fight now. Expecting the worst but hoping for a miracle, GO hunkers down and prepares to push back the advancing hoard.

With two barrels and a load of trampolines I'm dangerously close to oh shit territory, better drag my ass back to the cargo hold to reload and hopefully fight another day.

                    7) CC - o' reliable Tippmann 98! And search for paint.

With his snake fully drained, an overwhelming sense of calmness come over CC. He feels light on his feet, confident, patient. CC thanks his Deuce for its service, helping his survive so long. Maybe he'll have a change to fix it.... but not is not the time. Not wanting to waste any more time, CC happily skips over to the vending machine and hoping to find something to sparkle his eye. As luck would have it, the vending machine is fully stocked. So many options... but given the harsh conditions and what happened to his Deuce, CC decides to make the most rational choice, a 98. Tough as nails, unlikely to fall apart and when in doubt can be used to manually subdue an opponent. CC pushes the buttons on the vending machine and waits as it starts to make noises and waits patently for the 98 to drop while humming some Raise a Little Hell by Canadian icon Trooper. And waits, and waits and waits.. WTF.., the 98 has apparently wedge itself in the vending machine and needs a little persuasion to get it out. First CC jostled the vending machine, then gave it a solid boot.... dammit, this is getting noisy and CC's feeling of Zen has been rapidly disappearing. With a solid roundhouse to the side of the machine, the 98 comes rattling out. Finally, thinks CC, lets get down to business and raise a little hell! Once CC some balls to actually shoot....

There's actually more people left alive than i thought there would be.

By the way, did you know a roomba can't pick up do dog food? Well, not the stuff my dogs eat anyhow. It always jams.
