where to get plastic?

I need a small piece of plastic (1x1.5x2) for a project for my mower. I am not sure where I can get it quickly and all the local (Boston, MA area ) places I used to frequent are gone. does anyone have any leads where I can grab something like this?

Fastenal or Grainger are both good options and may have brick and mortar places in the area too. Not always the cheapest, but at least you could shop online and call a local store.

2” is pretty thick but I’ve used plastic cutting boards from Walmart as spacers for things. Obviously cut to the size I need but they come in 1” thickness. Can you stack one on the other ? Hockey pucks are great for spacers also for certain projects. Couple options if your in the need instantly instead of ordering something.

2 inches long. I can use 1 inch square. someone replaced the seat on my riding mower. I need to be able to have it hit the dead man's switch

Would it be easier to just move the switch location? You could tape it down for a temp fix. But I would just move the switch to a better location and get yourself a self tapper.

or live dangerously and just delete the kill switch and go back in time like the 70s and 80s?

I've always had good luck with www.usplastic.com. Make sure to pick a polymer that has been UV stabilized or it won't last very long.
