    New home page

My dearest M. Carter Brown I am afraid I have found another website that deserves to be my home page more then you. It is not you it is for me and the laughs, the nostalgia and the cringe.

    My new homepage.

Side note if you have kids please set all of their devices to this homepage as well, they will thank you!

Before AOL we had the minitel ... we had to phone in a number to connect to the service we wanted

This is only authentic is you have to create a new account every 30 days so you don't have actually have to pay for the services.
It's easy because everywhere you look, there's AOL branded frisbees...err, discs to do so.

Back then they sent you the internet in the mail, then you called it on the telephone.

I used a dial-up connection daily well into 2009. Wasn’t fast, but I’d open up an ad-laden page, go make a drink, and by the time I got back I’d be good to go.

Actually, it wasn’t that bad. Our dial-up was pretty good- ~46 mb/s out in the sticks where I lived at the time. That was also when I learned about ad-blockers, lol. Anything to streamline that super cheap connection.
