Yeah…I’m kinda sick of all those guys now. Don’t get me wrong, I have the Criterion Brazil in multiple formats. I’m just tired of the machine that makes Gilliam movies. These actors he’s using are self parody at this point as well, nearly Robert De Niro level played out. I liked Jeff Goldblum at one point. I bought Vibes when it came out on Blu-ray, I just don’t need to see his him forever. Lebowski is one of my absolute favorites but now I just see The Dude in everything the guy does now.

I feel like culture is stuck in time. Why are people talking about a new Emenem album? He old! Why are we still making stuff about Crisis on Infinite Earths? Why are there more toys based on Back to the Future now than there were in the 80s? With Gilliam making yet another Johnny Depp movie it seems even the stuff for smart kids is bound by this effin time loop.

Good point. I may be totally in the mood for the finale Gilliam/Depp movie it if takes 15 years to come out. Things change.
