Was the danger of a figure 8 race not enough? Good grief.
After watching for a bit to see how it went, it doesn't appear to actually be a chain, it's a hard bar anchored to each car. The guy in the back still has to steer, but he's not being jerked/dragged around by the front car. It's more like they created a very long vehicle.Comment

Look up "Banger Race" in the UK. They have double-decker setups with steering in one car, gas/brakes in the other. Also double-decker bus races in a figure eight if you search.
