I’ve heard 17” in Arkansas, but I’ll believe it when I see it. Prepared either way.

Currently in Breckenridge for a few days. Glad to be experiencing the worse snowpack on record. Opensnow seems to think the mountains south of I-70 will get anywhere from 6-12". Front Range might get 2-4". Then probably nothing for several weeks.

We might get a little here in central Mississippi. However, since i neglected to buy 12 loaves of bread & all the bottled water that would fit in my truck, I’m not expecting to survive.

Good luck buddy. I hope you can survive without a pallet of tp as well. Probably use fsr before hp.

I'm looking forward to having Monday off because of the snowfall, but I'm pretty damn sure I'm gonna freeze my balls off on the water this upcoming week so I might just burn a bunch of PTO!

Baked a couple loaves of bread and hoarded plenty. before, we'll probably survive the 4" we get. The state's still going to lose it's mind though.

Yesterday in West Nashville was fun- about 2.5 inches of fluffy snow - just enough to go sledding and make snow cream.

At some point last night the ice storm began and this morning we woke up without power and it's been off in our neighborhood all day. House is about 55 degrees and dropping.

The worst seems to be over here. (famous last words) It doesn't seem like much, until you step out into it.
Much less snow than predicted, maybe 4" before turning to sleet.
The ice is thick enough to hold my weight in spots, but crunching through is less slippery. And I laughed at my sister buying snowshoes last June.
The only good omen is that the pines branches are not drooping as though weighted down with ice. Less likely to fall.

It's the extended extreme cold temps coming that concerns me. I got critters outside that need liquid water, not ice.
I'm not seeing daytime highs forecast above freezing for the next week, and lows in negative numbers.
At least we still have power, and the water pipes haven't frozen.

Im at approximately 16” of powder and counting. It’s been blowing around a bit so it’s making pretty big drifts in some areas. However Its slowed down a bit now went out for a clean up but it’s supposed to continue here until 6am tomorrow so hopefully we don’t get to much over night and I can get out of my driveway for work in the am.

The new snows I put on my daily hook like Velcro so I shouldn't have any issues tomorrow. I will be taking the back roads to avoid the clowns.
