Favorite waffle maker?

Alright you cooking gadget fans...

What's the best waffle maker out there? Not some $400 limited edition Le Creuset thing either, but reasonably priced...

Now that there are four of us eating waffles, size, an indicator "beep" when it's ready, and, of course, good Belgian waffles are all priorities. If it can serve double duty as a hamburger grill with those flip- over plates, great, but it's not the most important.

So what's out there?

Good old black and decker 60s style,
makes America waffles, not those euro ones.
And it's non stick from factory and the plates flip for flat griddle cooking

We eat a lot of waffles in my house. I bought one of those the flip waffle makers on a Black Friday for $10 and it did a pretty good job, and lasted about 8 years. I decided not cheap out and buy a new one and spring a little bit so I bought a Cuisinart stainless steel flip waffle maker. It broke within 3 months. They warrantied it, they sent me a new one and I had to send them pictures of me cutting the cord on the old one. I think it cost me about 150 bucks, and it works pretty much the exact same as the cheap $10 one. I think the $10 one may have been better quality.
