Truff is a bit of a novelty sauce IMO. It’s decent but it can over power, like a lot of truffle infused stuff. I’m a big fan of Karma for general sauces. Rich’s Sweet Heat is a local sauce that is 11/10. I’ll check my cabinet and see if there are any other good recs. Also paging NONOBLITUS
seconding as a "novelty sauce".
does anything taste like it? no
is that a good thing? meh
have been gifted it alot, not a fan
also be careful with any "good reviews" these days
they are almost always ai or paid for
you have to read through them to be sure
and who was time for that?!

Have you guys tried Mateo’s Habanero? It’s not that hot, obviously, even the extra hot, (it’s habanero), but it’s really good. It’s great for tacos, especially scrambled egg breakfast tacos / quesadillas. Or as a gourmet chip dip.
The only downside with this one: it doesn’t last as long once you open it. It lasts about a week and a half max even if you stir it regularly.
Edit: and of course, even while refrigerated. But IMO, that also speaks to its more natural and organic ingredients, in comparison to ultra processed foods.
Ok shameless plug here. We own the Santa Fe Savory Spice, but our stuff is amazing. The sauce line is much smaller than it used to be but these two still kick ass. Well rounded flavor and balanced heat.
