    Missed opportunities

I keep looking at silver/gold prices and thinking of all the money I should have thrown at into it, a few stocks I passed on, and the project my brother passed on that would have paid 50 bitcoin. What else has slipped away?

I'm still so mad at myself for this.

A beautiful, pristine, immaculate, luciously lucid, crystal clear Halo B shell popped up on eBay a couple months ago for $25 and I didn't grab it

Honestly. Id buy gold now even at its price. For us US individuals at least. I honestly feel they are going to start printing money in May, and its only going to get worse for us.

I try and bury away the thought of, what if I had held on to just even a fraction of some BTC 🥲.

Turned down going into the Navy LDO program at the end of my stint as an electronics instructor at SUBTRAFAC Charleston, SC. They would have sent me back to school full-time at full pay to finish my degree. Being a nuke ET, I was worried about getting stuck on a Carrier or in the Shipyard afterwards. I should have done it even with the risk, it would have been worth it, but I was a little short-sighted at the time.

I know a guy who claims he was offered a founders stake in Red Bull at a trade show decades ago. Turned it down because "who would choose this over coffee?"

I won't lie if I tried it I would've said the same thing. How they gaslit us into believing it tastes good is beyond me but I don't even hate it anymore.

It's best just to move on and find new opportunities. It's too easy to get lost in what could have been.

I got assigned a cash secured put on Palantir at $30 per share and it dropped to $21/share. Sold those 100 shares as soon as they hit break even. I missed out on a lot of money on that one trade. Oh well, we move on.

Was in the process of buying a nice fade Dye cocker locally, but somehow on the way to meeting the guy to pick it up he “lost it in his truck”. He mentioned while we were meeting that he was getting a lot of interest on it online (Craigslist) and a lot of offers to ship but he didn’t want to bother with that. I think the cocker in OG format with a pile of spyders was $80.

I guess he decided on the way to sell it to me that he didn’t mind shipping after all and the claim that he lost it in his truck on the way to meet me for the sale was a foolproof option. He showed up with JUST the spyders and still wanted the full price for it all. I passed, but left grumpy because I assume someone on here made the offer and nabbed it out from
under me. Oh well, I didn’t need it anyways
