question pop metal melodic metal or not metal at all. to me its melodic metal that has pop metal sound to it. also half threw the song i get beach boy's harmony's and melodies to it.

I listened to a few other Ghost songs from another live 2022 show. They got other songs that are more metal than Mary On A Cross but its still soft AF for me. Soft rock is a thing so I guess soft metal is a better term for them? I'm a Black Sabbath and Pantera fan, and both those bands are ancient. If you can't go heavier, harder, or faster than them in 2023!!!!! I got very little interest if any in listening to you. I want to go to The Louder than Life festival in Louisville KY this September. TOOL plays Friday the 22nd and that my birthday. Tool kick ass! Not gonna buy a 4 day pass but may buy a camping pass and just party and trip all weekend in Louisville..

yes but to much satanic band because all stuff involves song around it. if you listen to this song really close. its could be about vampire some like jack riper or satanic act or some doing sacrifice. its about some chasing down woman who he or she loves, then they meet up become couple. then act of what song does happen.

yes and no. since they said they are against false profits or false gods. they make fun of satanic stuff or talk about it or act of it happening. they are against all religion do to fact follow false god or false profit. they are not like king diamond but close to it. since he more Satanism in both bands. they sing songs about Satanism or atheist style or anti-christ songs. its just act and people love this band for some reason. not sure how Satanism band like became like king diamond band that blow up and every one wants follow and listen too. to me satire band. but people hate when i say it.Comment

I generally liked Opus Eponymous and Infestissumam but past that they lose me. Those still have a heavy backbone to them with elements of Black Sabbath, The Doors, and a bunch of older metal. The song OP linked is just heavy pop.Comment

here issue with heavy metal they think of slayer death black style. they do not know you can have softer side of metal like this band in this song metal all they way but under tunes where get metal rifts but not heavy like slayer other black death metal bands
