Traded my 5 string bass for this and an amp, love the way it sounds now if only my niece would give me time to practice 😂

It has a mahogany neck and bass wood body as well so nothing special their either but the body isnt so light that you get neck dive all in all its a pretty nicely built instrument

Huh, a mahogany neck on something in that price range is pretty unusual. Not that I'm a believer in tonewood, but still. And yeah, splittable pickups in affordable guitars is pretty rare. I'm a big fan of split sounds, for cleans and light crunch tones.I'd also say having rail pickups is rare for affordable guitars, they have a unique sound and look.

These are like $250/$300 new I believe, on the used market they are all over the place but can be had for $150/$250, great for the price if you ask me

Peavy 6505+ 112 combo and my '89 Fender HM1 Squire. Rare, but not valuable. It plays awesome though, nice fast neck. I added a SD Distortion pickup.

I love it. It's definitely not a clean kind of pickup, it's got lots of bite and punchy lows. It pairs nicely with the Peavy

Nice. I definitely want to pull my JB. Looking at distortion, invader or black winter, but as of yet undecided

Nothing too fancy here. Old iida banjo, d-15, but mostly playing my ec-1000 these days. IMO they punch above their price range. The Laney dualtop is a lot of fun too. Hell of a lot lighter than my old super reverb and I can cut it to less than a watt to get solid tone at a volume that doesn’t wake the kids. I got the kustom pa on sale probably 15 years ago. Not amazing by any means but it gets the job done. Only pedal I’m using currently is a dittox2 looper. On top is an Alesis sr16 I got from a friend that passed, just starting to mess with that.

My stuff is kinda scattered between here and storage right now, but here's what is in the room with me.

Southpaw, so mirror your screen if it bothers you. Buying left handed guitars is a pain in the ass. If you know a lefty who is considering picking up the instrument, tell them to learn right handed.

      Fender Mexican strat

Stock except for a $25 Ebay pickup that legit sounds so good. I took a chance on it, and have been very happy with the results.
I just ordered a pick guard blank and and going to turn this into an H-S strat with an EMG-HZ I have floating around and that Ebay pickup in the neck.

      Signature EVH 5150

In high school I was a metalcore kid and had the classic 808->6505->Mesa oversized with V30 setup. When this came up a few years back for $400 I DOVE onto it.

      Classic Vibe Jazz Bass

      Hipshot KickAss Bridge
      Seymour Duncan QuarterPound set

I had never played bass before, but at my old job me and some of the guys started a grunge band. The classic vibes are really well made and affordable. I have GK 800RB in the storage unit, and with the QP pickups, that thing ROARS.

I'll try and get some shots of my pedal board soon as well.

        Damn, $400 for a 5150 Sig?!?! That's a hell of a deal!!

Also excited to see the pedalboard. Since you're lefty, do you set it up reverse from "normal" or do you still run it from right to left?

Magmoormaster The pedal board is nothing special, just a few I've come to enjoy over the years.

I set it up right to left, and just run the cable around.
    Working...
