In my head canon this was the last hurrah of grungy alt rock. I loved this album and was devastated when it fell out of my big ass CD file case and scratched. I liked Out of Exile too, but it didn't quite hit like the self-titled.💀 PK x Ragnastock 💀Comment

Agreed, Out of Exile is good, but not a timeless classic like their self titled album.
That story though -- reminds me of my De-Loused in the Comatorium album by The Mars Volta. That band is really one of those love it or hate it kind of deals and some of my friends absolutely hated it so not sure how the CD fell out and got all scratched? Highly suspicious! haha I think its one of those bands you gotta be really high to listen to -
I LOVE Mars Volta, but they are incredibly polarizing. I 100% agree though, my wife isn't much for crashy loud discordant music, but once she started smoking grass with me I had her just chill and actually listen to Deloused and she totally came around and understood why I loved it so much. There's just something about music that tells a story that rustles my jimmies. I'm a big prog rock space opera nerd (Coheed & Cambria, etc.) so that stuff speaks to me.
