1. Got hit with a hot gun in the back from 15 feet as I was walking off the field
2. Son took one in the neck

Those are some lovely shots on the back but the sons neck shot is nothing special. Get one of those from your back and place that on the neck and that is a different story. I seen one just like that done courtesy of Dixon from X-Factor back at Lonestar Paintball in San Antonio. They had a hyperball field that had a center diamond made of the 16" pipe. Just enough to lay behind and not be seen, except Dixon saw... then he ran over, jumped the pipe and shot my homie in the throat as he did. Quite literally the worst paintball shot I have ever seen. This was in 2001 so not everybody had cameras with phones otherwise it would be world famous by now. It was that bad. For some dang reason my friend was crawling on his back as Dixon mugged him and he got shot about 2 inches below his Adams Apple. Christ, to this day I can still see it and he still has the scar. Good ole days of chrono once a month or so.

No photographic proof but, I once took a shot, from someone shooting through a hole in a wall. During the game briefing, it was already established, by the game rules, we weren't allowed, to shoot through those holes/2" or less slots 🤔), the person shot me, from the top level of the castle, to the inner section of the ramparts. I got one to the stuff/package area..🥴 ...over 30 years of paintball and I've never worn a cup. 🤣

Other than that ...a throat shot, probably takes the prize! I couldn't even call it, very good, just put up my hand. 🤫...🙃

Worst one I have ever taken. No idea of the velocity but guy was shooting a Riot round. Couldn’t close my hand for a few days it swelled up like 1.5”. I ended up getting an X-ray because I thought it broke my hand. Just happy my wife didn’t catch it she would never play again after taking a shot like that. This wasn’t even a close range shot. When my hands get cold the scar looks a cigar burn.

Unfortunately the one local field that let people use FS banned them after this incident. I was more pissed about that than anything else. The guy ended up getting caught at another local mag fed game they tracked it back to the player threw multiple GoPro footage. They won’t tell me who it was but he’s been banned from all local fields.
