New BWCA 2025 Astrophotography shot

Just got back from a 9-night trip in the BWCA.

Hauling the camera and tripod probably wasn’t worth it since there was only one relatively cloud free evening to take pictures, and there were several long portages (longest was 460 rods) that I would have preferred to not be hauling 6lbs of camera gear.

Very few mosquitoes and zero ticks. I only put a head net on for 1-2 of the portages.

It was early in the season and temps at night were consistently mid-30s. My guess is they’re really starting to come out this week.

These are great. I havent gotten very good with night shots just yet. Love to see them though
