Fireworks pictures

Got to do some experimentation on the 4th. So using my wide angle lens, 10-18mm, with the aperture closed down to F11, tripod mount, with a remote trigger (using the camera to phone link app from Canon), and a shutter ranging from 1 second up to 4 seconds, I got some interesting shots.

These were edited on my phone, decided afterwards that portrait fit the shots better than landscape, so hopefully I didn't lose much quality. If not I still have the originals on the card...

What sucked though, right as the big finale began, where they shoot a whole bunch off at the same time, the battery in my camera died. Next year I need to remember to charge beforehand, and I'm going to set up much closer, to see if I can nearly right below the air bursts. I think at 10mm I can still keep them in frame.
