What game(s) are you playing right now?

Just got the platinum for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart... pretty standard ratchet and clank game, seemed easier than most.

picked up legacy of hogwarts for the wife, I'll play that when she's done with it. Maybe I'll actually play Spiderman: Miles morales this time.

Picked up a Mad Max for cheap as wanted something to play. Enjoyable, good hand to hand compact and engines in the cars sounds good.

Been playing Chained Echoes. Turn-based Final Fantasy style game (before FF became awful.) Overall it is pretty enjoyable, although I prefer numeric health bars for bosses. Otherwise I haven't found much that captures my interest lately. I really want a good RPG: The Witcher, (slightly more forgiving) Dark Souls, FF 3, a good FPS, or something genius like Portal. Rage/Rage 2 & the reboot of Doom were both good in their own way- I can adapt.

I really enjoyed Witcher, Dragon Age Inquisition, Assassin Creed games are great time sinks as well. I might get Red Dead next I hear really good things about it.

I started RDR2 and couldn't do it. The UI is tiny, and I sit way too far away from my TV for that crap (in short- I don't want to move closer). The Dragon Age games were great though. AC... it depends. I enjoyed Origins, but the one in Greece just got really grindy after a while. I would rather have a smaller world with really polished and less repetitive content than something massive that is just meh.

Been on an Age Of Empires 4 grind the last few months, when I take a step back and play my switch I've been cruising through pokémon violet, and because they added gameboy and gba to the vitural console on the switch I ran through Gargoyle's Quest today and thinking of starting Minish Cap or Super Mario Bros Superstar Saga

I'm honestly loving it, it has feels of aoe2 but with a modernized take on it, I'm sure in the upcoming years we'll be getting plenty of updates and content seeing as it's going to be available for the Xbox this year and will be cross compatible, the amount of civ's currently sits at 10 so its definitely not as vast as aoe2's current roster but I feel like it makes each civ a bit more unique in what they have in technologies and special units, the small fixes and content they've provided in the last 1/2 year I've played it is nice and seems consistent, they're doing a darn good job in adjusting things to make the quality of life in the game better with each update, that's not to say that it's not without its faults, but overall it's phenomenal gaming experience

My sister picked up Hogwarts Legacy, I've been really intrigued by it since the review embargo lifted. May have to spend a weekend at her house and bum a save file.

My wife's been playing it, her complaints are a wonky combat system and camera control. otherwise she's enjoying it.

There's a setting to change the camera in combat. The default setting felt weird but once I switched it and haven't had any problems.

My wife and I are both playing it and we've both enjoyed it. I've been mixing in a main story and side quests along with randomly exploring. Same way I play Skyrim and Fallout. My wife is more doing the main story and messing around in the room of requirement.

Sons Of The Forest, I've logged more hours into it in the last 4 days than I'd care to admit, it is dumb fun if you got some people for co-op and enjoy the survival/crafting horror genre, the first time I had a baby mutant ankle bite me I panicked so bad lol, I belive it's still in the "preview" state with weekly hot fixes being applied and bi-monthly updates

I just downloaded “overload” off steam and its a riot. if you enjoyed Descent 1-3 back in the 1990s you’d enjoy this.

Finished up Metroid Prime Remastered. Trying to finish up a playthrough of FF13. My bro just gave me his copy of Star Wars: Rogue Leader, so I'm probably going to play that next. I remember being thoroughly impressed with it when it was released (2001?).

I have played the planes part a little over the past few weeks. I'm still on props. I have the problem of not focusing on one country or one plane type (I blame pokemon, gotta catch em all) so I haven't dug deep into the tiers.

It’s still impressive imo. That’s one of those games that always looks good no matter how many incredible looking modern games you’ve played since the last time you played it.
