    looking forward to CS2?

Ive been playing R6 Siege this past few years but I might give CS another try again with CS2. CS is my all time favorite shooter, I played 1.3-1.6 back in the day obsessively. I was never able to get into Source or Go for some reason.

I am! I've been playing this game for the better part of 20 years now. I'm actually going to Paris for the last CSGO major this month.

I had a lot of fun playing it. I have a few Merlin trials to finish, some dueling feats and a few treasure caves left to go through to completely finish off my first play through. I’ll play it again with a new character when I do finally finish.

There's a slew of handheld devices like these, in a variety of form factors, that run emulators.

Man there are about 47 slews of these things that vary wildly in quality with new ones coming out seemingly every day. It’s almost overwhelming trying to sort through them when you’re in the market to buy something. One that I’m looking at getting is the Miyoo Mini Plus. It’s gotten mostly pretty positive reviews & it’s not terribly expensive.

Apparently when the Miyoos go up for sale they sell out in minutes to resellers. I've had good luck on the second hand market so far. The RG35XX is another good option.

Couple weeks ago I was moving some of my stuff to storage and went through my old battletech books. That got me nostalgic for the old dos game Crescent Hawks’ Inception, as that was both my intro to style tech and cRpgs. Ended up going to abandonware and playing through that and have been finding some other games from my childhood and running through them. Mines of Titan, sentinel worlds(god that was obtuse). Right now I got sucked into Full Metal Planet. Feels like 1989 all over again.

I have been playing "Days Gone" for a couple of weeks now. In short, it is an open world modern zombie game where you play as a former outlaw biker trying to get by.

I really enjoy a couple of quirks that apparently others have found irritating. You can only save the game when you are next to your bike (or your bed), so you do feel a bit vulnerable and naked whenever you are too far away from your bike, which really helps out with the feeling that the bike is integral to you.

Also, I would wholeheartedly recommend to set the difficulty level high enough so that the zombies do feel like a proper threat to you. With a high enough difficulty level, it feels menacing whenever I drive along from point A to point B, and there are zombies by the side of the road, that the mood is frightening, and my aim is to get out of there, rather than just hopping off my bike, to get some XP on yet another XP-pinata.

Regarding the bike, it needs to get refueled as you burn through the fuel, so you have to plan where to fill it up, or hope to get lucky with finding gas. This means that combined with the actually scary zombies, you don't casually explore every nook and cranny there is until very, very late in the game, which in my mind greatly helps with the overall atmosphere that it is a scary world out there.

Some people find the three above mentioned issues to be troublesome hassles that is detrimental to their game play, but in my view those specific things are enhancing the game play and overall atmosphere for me.

Finally got around to playing The Last of Us (remastered) I've had it for years and apparently got about an hour in before playing something else and forgetting about it. Finished my first playthrough on hard and am now working on ng+. story was fantastic and gameplay was good, collectathon is a pain if I want to get the platinum trophy.

My wife & brother surprised (shocked the hell out of is more accurate) me with a PS5 for Father’s Day & I’ve been playing Ratchet & Clank A Rift Apart. I like it just like i like all the R&C games I’ve played but nothing has really wowed me yet.

Playing through the Mass Effect Trilogy again because they're just too damn fun. When taking a break from that trying out Iron Soldier 3 on PS1, and Virtua Tennis 4 on PSVita.

There's a good chunk of guys in the SVP discord group who have been playing that. I'm still thinking about it.

I’ve been back on Halo MCC. Playing mainly Reach. Every Halo game brings something to the table, but Reach is the closest to a complete Halo experience IMO. My favorite in the franchise.

Yeah, I got got. My co worker was raving about how excited he was for the official release. It then released on a weekend that my wife was up north treating a friend to a birthday trip. Needless to say, I knew I could get away with binging it for 2 days undisturbed. So I downloaded it Friday night.

The story is so good, I want to keep making new characters and running different paths.

Right now, I have a dwarven bard I named Short King for my main play through. Trying to be ultimately a good guy in that run.

I tried to start a deep gnome warlock also, but I got stuck early in level one as I cant beat a seemingly simple fight with her.

I also made a half orc fighter in a friends game. Gave him pink skin, named him PIG, and dropped intelligence, wisdom, and charisma as low as possible to boost his raw fighting stats.

Haha its sooo frigging good man.
