What do you guys think it is? The RE4 RE-make?


The countdown is at 5 days and 14 hours, currently;

I'm hoping for a "REmasterd Collection" with 1-6 remastered/ported for the next Gen and 1 being a remake in the over the shoulder style like the re 2&3 games and 4/5/6 having updated controls/ graphics

But my hope s overreaching so it'll prolly be a re4 remake announcement or new Village dlc, or hell street fighter 6 and let's just throw a Marvel vs Capcom announcement for the sake of how insane the MCU is, I swear if it's a Viewtiful Joe reboot announcement, I'll shit myself

Yeah they know how to milk it, they're definitely only doing one title, and honestly I would want it that way. I wish they wouldve taken their time with the RE3 remake, I dont care if it takes 2-3 years to make after RE2, it was rushed and it showed. But the whole countdown means it will probably be something big like a whole re-make not just a remaster. And the information regarding the development of the RE4 remake was leaked and then later confirmed by Capcom so I'm thinking it's most likely that. But yes, Im not one of those people that say "oh this game doesnt need a re-make the original is perfect" I love RE4, I've played it more than I care to admit, but the controls are very outdated. And to those folks I say "hey, RE4 isnt going anywhere, you can still play it anytime you want." No one is taking it away from them. I say hells yes to Re0,1, Code Veronica, RE4 re-makes. Bring em on! One or two are bound to be really good like the RE2 re-make. If we go by Capcom's record on RE-makes theyre one for two, or 50% probability...haha

But in regards to remastering 1-6 and just fixing the controls, I think some of the graphics are far too old, and low-res from 0-3. They would have to remaster all of the textures too for it to work, but I would play them, if they did that, yes.

Honestly I'd be fine with them announcing that they're remaking Zero, Code Veronica, and 1, hell hopefully capcom seen the success in a platformer style metroid, and give us a new platformer style castlevania

Oh wait Konami is Castlevania, man there's a lot of publishers that need to get on it

Yeah don’t even get me started on Konami. MGS and Silent Hill are some of my favorite franchises and they’ve done squat with em. Missed opportunities to say the very least

Personally I'm not huge into fighting games but I'm sure there is an audience for it

My GF and I were heavy into Tekken 7 for a few years, we went from getting absolutely wrecked online to holding our own, but once we got good we lost interest. It was funner getting our asses kicked, or going though the learning curve of learning moves etc. we tried SFV but we didn’t t like it. But not big into fighting games myself
