    Places to sell GPU

    Hello,
I have a gigabyte 3080ti and was looking to sell it. Any good places you’d recommend?
    Thanks,
    Brendan

Just for my own curiosity how much are you asking for it?

Hmm overclock.net. Would sell just as quickly as ebay and you pay no fees. But I think you need a few successful buy transactions before you’re allowed to sell unless they changed the rules. Havent sold anything there in like 5 years. Another option is ebay, theres a 14% fee now (no paypal fee anymore) but for hot items like that you can factor the 14% into the price. And yeah, you can try here too, its a hot item, cant imagine it sitting too long (depending on price .)

Idk a price it’s the one with the lcd screen. Works great. I haven’t messed with it truthfully I just used it from factory as is. Retail would be cool to get possibly but I need a gpu to replace it.

You spent a ton of money (and got SUPER lucky)on a 3080, and you don't know what model it is? You realize you're in possession of a highly sought after item, right?
You can put it up anywhere, and sell it.

Any GPU that you replace it with is going to be crazy overpriced, I dunno what your plan is, but prepare to pay lots and lots more than you should be paying for an old card even.

My spidey sense kinda tingled too. The "I have a 3080ti but don't know where to sell it" is kinda sus. Same with the "idk a price" and "it's the one with the lcd screen"

Maybe some folks aren't as tuned in but have the cash for high end GPU's. Hopefully that's the case.

So I am going to take a guess and say that this is your GPU. If you are hurting for money you can sell it on Ebay and make some money off of it. If you are not after the money then i would keep it, as short of the 3090 you are not going to find anything better. If you are trying to trade for a lower card say a 3070 or 3060 and some cash i would hold on to it as there are way way to many people out there that are trying to scam others out of their cards. Even here there have been scammers most of them blue names but i have even seen a green name (super rare) scam. So unless you have someone in person that you can trade for cash i say keep the card and enjoy the future proof that it offers.

post that card on here you have someone will take off your hands. and do not have to worry about mar and jar mayo too. since you have to mail it to him if wants it. since no hand shake if close by after the sell.

as someone who recently sold a 3080. I did it privately with people I trusted, because the odds of getting scammed are astronomical.. its a high theft item, and they tend to bring out the worst in people..

I thought about chiming in last night after you posted, but now that i see the follow-up.. if you are a real person, as im inclined to beleive you are. not knowing the model, or having pictures of it. or knowing what your card is currently retailing for on any given website are 3 massive red flags..

and the last and biggest red flag..
you say you need to replace the card with something else.. you didnt even give a reason.. people dont normally step down in hardware unless something is broken..

On another forum I'm on. Peoples accounts are getting hacked then users like this one pop up offering to sell a gpu they don't know much about. First its paypal g&s, then in pms its bitcoin, zelle, f&f. be careful

Nah I know my gpu just was wondering where I could get away with no fees for selling. My marketplace account got banned due to paintball.
