when i was using windows 10. windows would make sure file say 6456.jpg and 6456.nef or what ever raw name camera brand uses. now in window 11 you get this for both names only 6456. so say 6456 for both files on name. unless you open in window photo or any other editing program it will tell you if file is jpg or nef or what camera brand the is for raw. that sucks. now when you move photo to folder for any reason make sure you name file as raw or jpg in name of folder too. so you know folder holds jpg or raw file name. since almost all or majority stuff on inter net. discord like stuff does not allow you post raw file or store raw file on sites.

there might be a setting in windows explorer to display or hide file types in the name, because i think my windows 10 installation behaved the same way at the beginningIf it doesn't have the [F] i don't want it. - Europoor -
found it how make show it. but do not understand why window photo for 10 and 11 wants to auto correct or do an correction to photo when it should not do since raw file. sad it does it. i also lost 300 to 600 photo when went to restore i deleted folder on memory card. so went to folder was not there made go away
