Just a heads up. I was about to pull the trigger on an MSI Gaming Trio and opted to check. I just picked up a FE 3070 at MSRP. This is going to be the longest week evar!

They try to force it on you but you don't need to. they pretty much get everything anyway from your payment and shipping info. check out as guest

Aside from that IDK that anything I do is specifically GPU bound. I do a lot of jpeg to pdf conversion for work and have been playing with Davinci Resolve for training videos.

3070 for $500 is a great price. I just looked at Newegg where I picked up my 3080 and prices are wild, all over the place. My card is 100 over what I got it for before shipping.

At the time I purchased this one, they had 3060ti, 3070, 3070ti, and 3090 of some sort in stock. The 3090 was actually available in store, which is not surprising given the $2K price. I would have liked to pick up a 3080 but with none available there and (as you mention) the wild west pricing I opted to go this way, which was my first choice.
