I am here for it, arms wide open... Nvidia's price gouging needs a competitor. AMD has earned far more favor from us hopeless computer nerds.

Depends on the usage. For everyday users and most gamers this will be a great thing. For those of us that actually need the extra oomph from a graphics card for work it won't help much, at least for the first few generations.
