Didn't see another thread for this. Anyone else playing? I just got a flight stick setup and am having a blast.

I'm dying to play it when I get back to LA and my PC. Think this is gonna be the game that pushes me to finally get VR too. Wanted it for HL: Alyx anyways and this seals the deal. HOTAS and an Index are gonna be my christmas present to myself I think haha.

I REALLY hope this does well so they make a full fat sequel though. The multiplayer looks cool but I want a proper X-wing/Tie Fighter single player game.

THIS^ Same here. Wanted it for HL but SW: Squadrons will push me to adopt it, finally. Keep an eye out for the HP Reverb 2 coming out later this year. It was made in collaboration with Valve and MS, it's said to be better than the Index in some areas like resolution and picture quality and it's only $600 MSRP.

@ Deltasteve I don't have SW: Squadrons yet, but definitely getting it. What joystick is that?

It looks like I'm going to have to build a new gaming PC or pick up a Series X if I ever hope to play this. My "powerhouse" gaming rig is apparently no longer what it used to be.

VKB Gladiator NXT. I've only had it for a day but it felt good and the price point is agreeable considering how much good sticks go for. Be warned if you don't have a HOTAS or stick already, the market is out of control because there is no stock due to MS Flight Sim and this game coming out. I had to order it direct from manufacturer in China but they had it to my door in 4 days flat.

Good to know, thanks. I also noticed that racing wheels are flying off the shelves. There are lot of folks stuck at home due to CV, so I think that's a contributing factor, also.

I do have an older Microsoft Sidewinder but no HOTAS.

Same. Old stick i used to play xwing vs tie fighter with. Been sitting in a box in the garage for years.

I’ve got it on Xbox One. I’ve only played a couple of the campaign missions but so far i really like it. I haven’t fully gotten the hang of the controls yet. I generally like to play space/flight games in 3rd person & i keep wanting to control this like a FPS.
