    VR games

I got an Oculus Quest a few weeks ago, and really like some of the games. But one has been my ABSOLUTE Favorite: Pistol Whip. AMAZING! and so much fun.

    Anyone else playing VR?

I had the original htc vive when it was new. It was either that or the original rift and the vive had better resolution. Also it had the deluxe audio strap so great sound and the built in mic worked great.

quest is standalone so no pc so not sure it yours cab play every game mine did. I had a cord attached always that overtime kinked worse and worse no matter how much i tried to stop it. Luckily it was plenty long and i still used it for two years. Sold within a day on letgo and the dudes also bought the rest of my old ps1 and 2 and xbox system plus games. MOAR PAINTBALL STUFF
Greatest memory i have is playing vrchat so high and giggling like a idiot, https://youtu.be/2dks3IadvCs . Fallout 4 vr came free so that is cool and fun to play. Trover saves the universe is great, rick and morty fans will love it. Superhot is INCREDIBLE and over the top is great fun. Idk bout oculus but htc has its own thing called viveport that you can buy games on and a subscription service like origin does that lets you play a ton of them.

I only had a DK2 until I gave it to my kid cousin, but my go-to games were Elite: Dangerous, and DiRT Rally.

I haven't tried Superhot yet, though I watched my brother playing it once. Looks fun!

I just got Custom Songs to work on Beat Saber last night. Fun to hear some classic rock songs and other stuff.

I cannot wait to have room for it. Planning on the Steam VR setup that comes with Alyx.

Completely forgot to mention beat saber. I highly recommend you get this game rainmaker. Fun as hell and satisfying to get good at. You can get a mod to download people's custom beat tracks. some of the ones were so amazing to play through.

Yeah I've been slashing cubes to "Queen" and "Boston", using the custom songs. Love it.

I have an HP headset, waiting in line to get the Valve Index now. Most of my playtime goes to Beat Saber and Pistol Whip. Gorn is a fun one too if you don't mind the cartoonish graphic violence.

If you want to throw up all over yourself and black out in your chair, get Detached.

Yeah, I am going to get Pistol Whip on mine soon, so far only have played it on my brother-in-law's headset. By far the best game I've played so far.

I will definitely stay far away from Detached, haha

I keep trying to tell the wife I need a quest, she disagrees....

Try and find some place that is demoing a Quest w/Beatsaber. Beatsaber seems to be the ideal game for bringing even non-gamers to the VR side.

Yeah the new oculus quest is an awesome standalone headset. I prefer the ones that need a computer just cause more bigger and better looking games. Though the pc needs some real good stuff in it to make it run smooth (or at all really). I think the quest is like 400 or $500. Could always return it, but everyone thinks it's awesome so why do that. I really miss vr.
