Cloning Drives

I used to use Apricorn. It was free but it doesn't work on Windows 11. I'd like to clone a drive in case the original fails. I've seen some youtube videos and Disk Genius seems to be the go to. Clonezilla has honerable mention but it's more steps and requires additional software. I'm wondering though if anybody here clones drives and if so, what do you use?

A linux distro and dd are still the most solid options. DD should be available on Windows also, if not native also via Linux Subsystems for Windows.
