i tried everything discord said to do i uninstalled it too. and still get warring mark about how it can not hear me or having issue with mic. when i check laptop out for mic says all is well no issue. so what could be causing discord not hear me speak

Has it ever worked for you in the past?
Is your microphone muted or disabled in the control options of your operating system?
Have you set in discord, which microphone input you're wanting to use? I find that "default" does not always work. -
last few days i been getting warring about it. Not sure if someone took off group chat or not when ever i log in to after going back in when turn computer on show i have it but when i move to chat channel get huge error thing all came about time i add my nikon update for using my Z6 as web cam. But was getting dot before that been coming and going for 1 to 1 1/2 weeks no having issue of it going red. Also got worst after i join artschool drop out and tabletop titians . Since load both in 1 day time one late wed other thursday after noon. I am in 3 discord group. Check for connection issue i with laptop in hardware and what discord said to do too. I will do uninstalling later then shut down computer and reinstall. Also do not know where dell G7 15 7588 mic at it could be clogged up or block somehow. okay seem to be working now but have not found away to test to see if other can hear me. for some reason when i did my update part where dell ask you update stuff if fixed or because got rid of other software and when did dell update went to one should be using not other programs for some reason had 2 other programs load up when did not know how got them. one could been when i update computer to use my Z6 as web cam too. or update from discord where gave me new program with it when discord update it self
