My wife and I want to get a projector for our bedroom, since there isn't a good place to put a TV. As with anything these days, there's a billion options and I know nothing. So, does anyone know of any decent options, preferably $200ish?
Bedroom projector?

Just jump on ali express and see what you can find for the price. At $200 there's not a whole lot, might be better to go second hand DLP.
OR, and I know this wasn't asked for, but personally I'd avoid a TV in the bedroom for the sake of my marriage, and for pavlovian association reasons. The bedroom should be primarily for sleep = better mental health etc.. Though TBH sitting up on your phones individually is almost certainly worse.Comment

I use the following for my little studio. For less than $60 it works pretty good. Sometimes I'll hookup my portable Bluetooth if I'm trying to crank the volume up. Majority of the time I use the built in speaker. I use my firestick to stream my movies and shows on Plex. I just use it on my wall. No proper paint or screen. This is just a temporary setup before I move.

As far as image quality goes, it doesnt really matter. Cheap projectors usually have a pretty dull and unfocused image
i would go for ease-of-use. I had a $200 projector that was a pain to set up. Had to connect to like 5 different things with different remotes. Super annoying
Now i have a mid-range Epson and its much easier to use. Just turn it on and start watching. Also much better image quality. but it did cost $800Comment
