    Crawling at home

Here's another $500 I probably shouldn't have spent, but it's fun to be able to get some rock crawling in when I can't take out the Samurai, which is most of the time. It's an all stock Axial 1/10 SCX-10 III. A friend always brought one camping and it was way too much fun while drinking around the campfire to not get one for myself. Someday, when I have to much money, I need to get something that's better in the sand and washboard roads since that's about all that's around.

It is. And not having to worry about rolling and hoping my wobbly rig is gonna make it home is nice.

That has the portal axles right, did you assemble it? Just wondering how difficult it is.

Ya it has portals and no, I just bought it as a completed unit. I didn't want to bother with building one since I'd probably buy a bunch of incompatible parts or something and I knew this one worked well for what I wanted it to do. Seems fairly simple though if one were to build it. I love that's it's all just miniature truck parts.
