What car would Darth Vader drive?

I've always had a special place in my heart for Mr. Vader. And I love neat modded vehicles. Part of what I love is when a car has a fun, relatable, familiar theme. So with those things in mind, I've been fantasizing about what vehicle old Darth would drive if he were among us in today's world.

Ultimately, it would be such a fun project to build something Vader themed, and drive around regularly in full cosplay... not that I will ever have the time or the courage to actually do that, but it's fun to think about.

So, what would he drive? Something actually affordable and drivable would be ideal, if this were to be a realistic fantasy. I'm thinking maybe one of the newer Jeep models? Renegade, Cherokee... or an older jeep. Or maybe something sportier like a corvette or BMW... Trying to stay away from things like Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc. Anyway, just a fun thought experiment.

The 300 really does look like every comic book villain car

Miata is always the answer. Make the doors into Thai fighter wings raise the seat so your helmet sticks up over the top it would be perfect.

A BMW for sure. Judging by how they act on the road, all BMW drivers have given into the dark side.

Murdered out Mercedes SLS Black. You know, the modern gull wing door one.

Not asked but I’m sharing anyway: Dark Helmet would drive an Isetta.

We're talking anakin skywalker here so he would have something custom with sick high performance, definitely very similar in construction to the "hoonicorn" AKA tube chassis, racing transmission and differentials, turbo'd like crazy.

But for the body style on such chassis he has his own style, like he made c3po Gold because he is a boss baller and he made his pod racer pretty good looking despite his limited budget at the time.

So probably a carbon fiber plug of a 1980 BMW m1 body on that race chassis.

It would have countermeasures obviously, james bond style. Oil slick, machine guns, metal barbs that drop out from beneath it. Stuff like that.

The engine choice would be interesting, maybe a hayabusa v8 like this https://www.h1v8.com/page/page/1562069.htm he likes to go fast but he was pretty low displacement in his pod racing days, lighter and more maneuverable.

But as he is getting older and more robotic, he might be running a donovan blocked small block chevy, blown and running nitro because more is more and he is darth.

Whatever he has, it would definitely be custom. He's always twisting some knob as he drives adjusting the precise tune of his ti fighter or his pod racer. His shit is extreme performance.

For a stock car you can buy though I think a black honda element is the most vaderesque in style car you can get. Or a 90's BMW
