Was browsing marketplace on my lunch break yesterday and found this "drill press" listed for 30 bucks. Did a little googling because I'd never heard of servo, come to find out its actually a really high quality tool. Ended up meeting up with the guy later last night and got it, gave him a 100 bucks since I thought 30 was way too low and its the holidays. Plugged it in when I got home and everything seems to be working on it. Gonna do some cleaning, but looks to be in great shape. Now I gotta figure out how I can put it to use.

So is it a drill press with a dial indicator for drilling depth?

yeah, its got a speed control dial on the side that gets the chuck up to 7000 rpm and 4 adjustment points to drill to .001" accuracy wise. I've seen people use them for watch making and circuit board work. I'm sure I can adapt it for paintball parts in some way.

Oh that's alot nicer than my FB drill press find. That's probably the only reason I still have FB, for cheap tools and sometimes a good deal on paintball stuff.

$100 sounds a fine deal for that. How much work goes into fine tuning the four adjustment points?
