Anyway picked this up last summer, didn’t get much time on it. Starting early this year, hoping to get at least 5k miles in this season.

Went with the 500 since I wind up crusing on roads quite a bit as well. Stupid fast for a dirtbike, so unessessary. Fun as fuck though. Suspension and engine so much better than the WR250 I had years ago.

It vibrates like mad. Even with the custom seat my ass starts to hurt after two hours. I have 0 regrets, just did 3 hours and feel fantastic (even if my ass hurts).

Went on a closed part of the blue ridge parkway today, was such a nice cruise even with all the debris still on the road for the storm.

Just got a few off road bikes for my boys. KTM SX 50 and a 110L for my oldest to rip around on.

I got a few ATV’s to ride with them. But I got my eye out for a good deal on a bike to rip around with them on. I would love to get another road bike but with the kids being young and the amount of distracted drivers is insane in my area. Sticking to the Sticks I have 36 acres to ride and my gun club has 150 so I can still get my fix.

My project that's kinda in limbo... Needs a custom drive sprocket to get the chain alignment right. Kinda sad looking at this picture and how it's just sitting covered in dust and crap at the moment.
