    Motorcycle saddlebags

Is there any brands out there that don't require me to put more holes in my fender to mount? Shops want too much money to "install" and I'm too much of a potato to be trusted with unsupervised power tools. Would rather avoid it if it's possible. Starting to think it's not really a thing though.

I'd have to research some options, but I can maybe help install them if it came to it.

Dude I would probably take you up on that. Outside work tools I don't even own a drill 😂

Torque bags rest over the fender and under the seat, have them on my bike and they seem to do the job.

Do they flop around a lot? Some of the reviews I have seen says they're pretty flimsy

There are some choices out there, but really depends on the bike you have. What's the motorcycle?

I use Viking bags on my Yamaha..... You would have to see if they make a mount for whatever bike you have.

Both viking and shad need to have holes drilled into the fender. I want to do that as a last resort but may end up needing to do that anyways. Hate that it's more or less a permanent alteration though.

It's gonna sound crazy, but.... why not buy a used fender off of ebay? Looks like 115 bucks for one that's a similar green, with white on the sides.

Then drill holes in your ebay fender. If you wanna ditch the bags. You put the stock fender back on.

Drop Viking a note and ask them about a quick disconnect system for your bike (they were very responsive when I had questions). Mine uses the existing fender brace holes/mounts.

This might not be the look you want for your cruiser but if you’re just looking for storage space you can take out the two bolts on the side of your fender and add these to attach a tail bag or even just put a saddle bag bracket on those two bolts.
I use the rigg gear tail bags on my bikes

After talking with viking bags customer service it turns out I was just confused. The only thing I need to drill holes in for the viking bags I wanted was the strut cover, which is removable and easily replaced on the Vulcan s. Looks like I will be going with them as is
