    One Wheel

    I couldn’t pick a section…
    outdoors, exercise, or garage…
In the end, the motor one.

    Does anyone One Wheel?
I’ve been seen them a ton at campgrounds and I’m kind of intrigued. I don’t want to buy one, but maybe I can find a trade or something.

    Anyways,
what do you think of it?

I can actually unicycle. Well, I used to be able to. Contrary to what one may think, it is -not- like riding a bike.

        Too right, completely different.

I used to ride to work - in the dark. Holding an umbrella when it rained, with a headlamp.

I must have looked like such a dork, but it worked.

Like the concept, don't like the company. They're pretty anti right to repair, so a lot of the early models batteries are dying and you can't do anything about it.

I own a One Wheel GT. Scary at first. Flat smooth pavement is the only surface I am comfortable riding on. At first it was fun learning how to ride, but advancing in skill is not worth the chance of injuries, potentially severe ones.

My neighbor would commute to work on one before beefin it and fracturing his leg pretty bad. Think it was about a 6 month recovery and haven’t seen him back on it since.

There’s a guy I see at the big mech events who zips around on one over all sorts of terrain. I don’t have anything to contribute other than to say it looks much nicer than walking.

That definitely depends on your definition of nice bike.
