For those of you with teens of driving age - I took the older kid to this on Saturday, and it was absolutely worth the cost both in dollars and in time.

We'd already got her comfortable with relying on ABS for panic stops while she was still on her learner's permit. I took her to a nearly empty big lots store parking lot and she learned real fast to trust that she can just mash that brake pedal to the floor and know its not going to break the car. That paid off on a road trip over the summer where she was getting in hours behind the wheel and some lane darter caused traffic to stack and she had to panic stop.
This driver training though was a lot more than that. She appreciated the skid control - and it was a very safe way for her to learn how it feels to have a vehicle step out on you. She did well on the panic stops, and got comfortable with the slalom and the rest. Good classroom sessions before and after the track time too.
And in the distracted driving portion they made the kids were beer goggles while the instructor was as obnoxious as possible
Some pics I snapped. That bit of plastic on the table by the steering wheel was a sample of the hard plastic covers they had on the rear wheels of the skid control cars.
