    4-Nights Solo in the BWCA

Went to the BWCA on a solo trip a couple of weeks ago. Entered at Sawbill Outfitters and then paddled West into the Lady Chain lakes for four nights staying on Ella Lake, Phoebe lake (two nights) and Beth Lake.

Rained each night and the mosquitoes darn near carried me off, but it’s a gorgeous area of the country to camp in. If you ever have the opportunity to go I’d highly recommend it!

I miss solo camping/canoeing, very jealous.

Love the BWCA! Went once as a teenager with the scouts on a Canoe trip, then ice fishing last year. Love that place.
