Any other sailors around? Winter projects?

Just wrapped my first season as a sailboat owner. I bought an '87 Cal 33-2 at the beginning of the year. After a bit of fun requiring a tow to my haul out appointment, she's on the hard for the winter. Over the winter, I plan to repair some chips and replace the original non-working radome and CRT from 1987. What projects do you have lined up?

A pic from the haulout as we were starting to unstep the mast:

Avid sailor here. I'm currently restoring a nacra 5.2 and building a 24ft cruising cat of my own design.

Building your own cat sounds like a huge undertaking.

djroot2 I tend to bite off more than I can chew in every aspect of life. I owned a 30ft mono hull like yours but I got tired of paying to hull it out and paying to keep it on the hard. Now I want something big enough to take the family on weekend trips but I want to to fit on a trailer. I also want something with a shallow draft I can just pull up on the beach. I love cats and have sailed hobies since I was a kid. Unfortunately larger cats are way outta my budget so I figured I'd build one. If you have any interest I plan on somewhat showing the build on YouTube. https://youtu.be/KfDnhyzRmVQ?si=Be0euvWKgQXF_5vJ

I've got a Europe Dinghy that was used in the 1996 Olympics. A laser would have been a smarter buy - it takes me like 45 minutes to rig because of all the internal lines and pulleys, but when it's in the water it rips!

It's only like 10ft long so it Can be tossed in the back of my Ranger.

I'm not keen on paying Moorage around here, so I'm keeping my eyes out for a Catalina 22 or similar swing keel trailer sailer.Click image for larger version Name:	PXL_20240721_000237468~2.jpg Views:	0 Size:	3.98 MB ID:	621833 Click image for larger version Name:	PXL_20240722_004848587~2.jpg Views:	0 Size:	2.53 MB ID:	621832

That dinghy looks looks like an awesome time. I learned on a 13' mercury and raced lasers for a couple years in high school. that was far too long ago now. I was originally looking for a pocket cruiser I could tow but caught a case of 2 foot-itis that turned into 10 foot-itis and here we are.
