    Flooded yard clean-up - I guess it's outdoors since it's outdoors

I live below sea level so local flooding is a concern. I have a drain in my yard that connects to a city pipe that runs through the middle of my yard down the middle.

The first pic is from 2021 where we had a king tide and heavy rains for a week. My drain leading to the city pipe was a bit choked off which I have now fully cleared. Being the low point, all the standing water from my neighbors collects in my yard so I put in a french drain.

Fast forward to now and it's a different yard. My wife and I did all the work. Most of the rock was sourced for free from FB marketplace. Total spent, about $1200 including a half day rental of the digger. Heavy rains since then have yet to produce a puddle.

That's incredible, great work. The kid in me would love the idea of a pond yard but would be disappointed when there's no fish in it. And the adult me know better than to have a pond for a yard.
