    I liked the books. He'd deal with his emotions by tearing up the streets in his blown Bentley.

          Certifiably. John Woo’s MI2 is a fuckin fever dream of what the actual fuck. And I would put Daniel Craig’s 007 above the MI series. The first Mission Impossible is good the rest are forgettable, f’ing Hollywood fever dreams. I was having a good laugh with my buddies the other night when the question of: do you actually remember any of the MI movies? Right now, ask yourself, what the fuck did you watch? The last one is most present in our minds but aside from that ????

            Bond consists of these elements:

            (occasionally) cool gadgets

            (occasionally) excellent chase scenes

            (always) extremely bad jokes. So so bad. Insultingly bad jokes. On purpose.
            What are you thoughts on "The Spy Who Loved Me" BOOK not movie. The only Bond book narrated in the first person. The whole book is from a female point of view, and bond does not show up until the last 1/3 of the story. The movie is a completely different story.

              I can honestly say that I've never seen a single mission impossible movie so I don't really know what you're talking about.

                Maybe you have and you just don’t remember. Which is understandable as I mentioned 😂😂

                  I would say my favorite Bond movie would be the 1967 "Casino Royale".
                  It's not always included in the list of the 007 franchise since it didn't fit the narrative.
                  But I enjoyed the music and a finer cast than any other Bond movie. A wonderfully comic spoof.
                  If you've never seen it, it's out there;
                  Casino Royale (youtube.com)
                  If you have seen it, ignore the link.

                    Very pretentious of you, Jim… but I see you. Good call.
