Dusted off my PGP for some shooting today and the front grip screw decided to fall off. It looks like it may have either sheered off or was trimmed to length at one point. If I put the screw back in the body hole there is nothing to thread into. We’re there supposed to be threads in the body or something internal to screw into? Never taken a PGP apart and don’t have a valve tool..

If you remove the RVA and spring, does it have a round/square retaining nut behind the valve? Or just flat brass with the valve stem? I can't remember if I sent you a Non-cartridge valve or a cartridge valve.

If it's like my P68at, there was a small, round, threaded steel nut inserted in the hole in the brass on the bottom tube. The grip screw threaded into it, but it came loose when I took it a part one day and rattled out the front tube.
PITA, but once I got it back in the hole, some JB weld kept it in there for good.

Turning down a brass nut and soldering it in works well if you have the equipment to do it.Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...
