Cradle options for raptor reg

I’ve had the mega kapp drop forward before (drop zone?) and I don’t think I want to go back to that. I have seen other kapp versions that just go straight forward a bit.

I think there was a benchmark option but do you have to watch out what tank you use with that? It seems like the reg sits so far forward that some tanks might have too short a neck, no?

I may have something you can just have. Its rough though. It orginaly mounted a agd flatline to a icd b2k.

I tested one of my Raptors with my Flatline cradle and it works ok, but the location and type of burst discs in your reg may impact the orientation of the reg and whether it will fit or not. New burst discs, nope. Originall AA replaceable diaphram discs, yes; if installed in ports that do not interfere with the clamping mount.

The Kapp DZ3 stubby is one of my favorites and I think is the best looking raptor reg compatible mount .

These are a few options that I've got; none are for sale but should will you an idea of some of what's out there so you can track down the best option for you.



Top row: Centerflag made some AA reg mounts that use dovetail rails so that you can use your preference of drop or one of theirs. They made 3" and 5" drops. Their mounts accommodate the full body Unireg tank regulators and the Raptor/Tsunami.

Middle row: I'm not sure of the manufacturer, but these two block mounts fit Raptor or Tsunami regs only and have standard ASA hole spacing to mount to any rail/drop with the same.

Bottom: This reconfigurable cradle is from BTS (?) and will work with full body Unireg or Raptor/Tsunami regs.

My favorite option is on one of my current builds that will be ready to hit the field this year. It's a Fred Schultz Signature Series mount that I mated with an SP Maxflo rail. It makes for a tight package with a 26ci tank and that's enough air for rec day games.
