Gun ID: Older Smart Parts Impulse?

This popped up cheap locally. Not down with SmartParts guns. Nice copper looking accessories. Looks in pretty good shape.

Yes that's an impulse. Maybe even a private lable body. It's cut in the back and that swish down the top tube I don't think was a sp thing. If it was this is a late impulse. Vision is nice to, a little more rare.

I don't think that's n cooper though, not from the factory at least. If it is I'm betting it's something someone made, those 3 pieces can all be turned on a lathe so they wouldn't be super complicated to make

Actually, both the feed neck and the front part are factory made. There used to be a front grip for the Impulse with the same milling as well. I have the very same feedneck lying around, and I've seen that specific milling, with the front grip on Freak Factory Imps - which this one is.

However, I do not know whether or not that milling on the feed neck/front grip was standard, an option or not at all on the Freak Factroy Imps out of the box. As to whether the copper color is factory, of if the parts are in actual brass/copper, I cannot say.
