yes a remote could handle 3k to 4.5k depending on manufacturer but your first limit is your tank reg won’t offer those level of pressure.

Ninja does sell a reg for this purpose, but it is not intended for use with a marker. It’s for tank to tank fills only.Comment

If you are talking about filling from a 70ci to a 13 or 9ci tank or something like that it will sort of work.
simply use normal PB parts to connect the two. On/off ASA to stainless line with a quick disconnect fitting to the fill nipple.
However, you will only be able to fill the smaller tank to the maximum output pressure of the larger tank’s regulator. So if the larger tank is 850 psi output, the smaller tank will only fill to 850 psi.
The only way to get more pressure into a tank is to use a compressor or fill from a scuba tank. The output of a scuba tank is unregulated so they can fill a PB tank up to the pressure inside of the scuba tank.
so if you only have 1000 psi left in the scuba, that’s all that will make it into your PB tank.Comment

Ninja made a big 4.5k tank you could fill a bunch of 13ci 3k tanks off of but you would still need to fill the thing at you local field or proshop. They had a regulated fill whip that came with it. Don’t know if it’s still available. Gorilla air made a 100 CI as well don’t know if they have passed there hydro date at this point.
I think there are scuba tanks that fill to 4.5k now to but they are not cheap. The massive ninja tank isn’t either.

3L= Approx 183ci @4.5k that could fill a lot of 3k tanks. Don’t know how your local field or pro shop would feel about filling it. I know I wouldn’t have a problem at mine. But I sell a lot of product for them so they hook me up.
You would also need to rig up a fill station that could take 4.5k ninja sells one. But again not cheap. It’s going to be a chunk of an investment. Scuba is the way to go if you ask me.
$150 for a good tank (3k)
$50 for a fill adaptor
$40ish for hydro and vis if it's needed
If your anything like me you'll only need 2-3 fills a year so the upfront cost is around $250 but after that you really save some money not to mention how convenient it is

Yong Hengs can be had for $200-300, plus another $100-200 for a cheap Chinese desiccant/filter setup (which I would highly recommend if filling often). If you just want a little air every now and then for testing, a hand pump and 13/3k are the way to go.
Both of these options don't allow for immediate filling (ie between games). These options would be something to use to fill a bunch of tanks prior to an outlaw ball day, or as a top up throughout the day. If you need immediate fills, a scuba is the way to go.

For the record, I have actually done what you, (the OP), asked to test setups after rebuilding and installing regs. Just fill it to ~ 800 psi or whatever I have available to ensure the setup is all well and good.
I think this is a quick and easy test before you waste time and money going to a field or shop to fill your freshly rebuilt or assembled reg/tank combo just to find out it leaks.Comment

-- Brother has a Yong Heng compressor. The first one broke after a couple months of light use. We are still using the replacement now, 4-5 months. I'd like to see some reputable brands make these and then I'll put some money down.

Yep, I got some old scubas. Im bringing them down to the scuba shop today. I hope they're still good -- pretty beat up, different fields, even in tanks at SG. Wish me luck.
They're technically NOT even mine though, haha. All three come from different people in the PacNW scene and NONE have ever made good on picking them up from me (7-8 years now). I originally saved them out of a garage from a player going through a nasty divorce. Once I rehydro them they become mine though, lol, unless they want to pay for it of course. I've hauled these around from 3-4 different homes. I want my compensation damnit.

124ci FS tank is pushing almost 850-900 output. Slapped a remote line on, filled a completely empty 68ci tank to about 1000-1100, not too shabby. I'll take it.Comment
