15ci First Strike Tank Butt Options?

Anyone got any ideas? Most of the typical options don’t work with the new shape.

Im contemplating just going old school with the hockey tape or a cut handball maybe. I got a power house reg extender coming in for mine to give it a lil more length like my 17ci. Length should be perfect with it. They are pretty trick it goes between the bottle and reg instead of in front. (Looks way more sturdy)

The back is just to slippery when shouldered any ideas how to rib it for my pleasure?

Would an the old school tennis ball or table leg cap work? I got a black "walker leg" ball on a 13 because it was slipping to much and it worked like always.

This is gonna sound weird, but I've used these little Kenyan baskets we have on smaller tanks before and they snug up to the shoulder real nice-like. What's the OD? I'll see if I have one that will fit.

Why can't they be Malaysian baskets? I think if you have to preface it with "This is gonna sound weird" that requires a photo.

Hidden in the back of the First Strike thread in Paintball News is your answer.

      Be warned, it’s... it’s a hard modification.

OMG that is going to look great on my shared family Ebay account. I can’t wait for my pops to see this come up in the recently purchased…. 😂

The 13ci butt options should work. There was also someone on here who took an *adult* implement to use for a stock.

Get me accurate dimensions and I can model whatever and put it in my shapeways store

With accurate dimensions maybe one of the old 7 oz CO2 ones would work or 3D printing options are endless

I just ordered a hand ball to try on Amazon. But the pecker enlarger sounds like a good option. It can pull double duty..

What do you think about tool handle dip like the rubberized coating they put on hand tools. Just dip the very end it comes in black wrinkle to.

                Rainmaker could print you one

For the life of me, I can NOT find my 13 ci tank... Could anyone take a measurement of the outside diameter of the tank for me? Preferably with a set of calipers.

I have one very similar to that but if it’s made for a 2” round tank they are often to big.

Has anyone tried to modify an Neoprene ankle brace? They come in multiple sizes and can be easily stitched up after being cut to length.

I purchased the 9-12oz CO2 Neoprene tank cover from MasterSconi on eBay.
Only $4, but shipping doubles it to about $8 total.
It actually fits real nice, which makes me wonder how a 12oz would fit...but anyway, it does everything I wanted. Covers the entire tank, which I like with carbon fiber tanks. The butt end can be easily sewn closed, although I think I might leave it as is (half closed. Picture a fish mouth). The loose flap of Neoprene doesn’t aversly affect the shoulder-ability, and is still plenty non-slip (maybe better than if sewn closed).
I didn’t see the cheap shipping option for multiple before, but if I were to buy again, I’d buy two. Here is the listing. I will try to get a photo on the tank later.

That’s not a bad idea. If I put that on my tank I could put my stock piece over it and it would stay put. I going to order one of those. I bet it will give me the with I need.

I think I got an old mouse pad that may do the same thing. If I get my Martha Stewart on.

ID:	124877 This one is kind of cool to it’s a lil long I my need a 1” spacer in the back but that would be easy to fab. I may not need my reg extension if I use this with a spacer.

This ones labeled “Nice Butt by Taso” so I kind of like that.
