    Python kit?

    Hello MCB,

Looking at python kits again ...
I hate long barrels, I hate having to spend ton of money for a new barrel (or bore every barrel I have) ...
I like that I can get the adapter for the gun I'm using and use the stock barrel or a super short stub ...
So those little things seams great ...

Anyone uses them on regular basis?
anyone used them and say "hell no..."?

let us know your experience and what you think.
    Thanks,
    x

I have been using primarily python/iFit kits for the past +7 years in Autococker, phantom, angel a1, ion to A/C threads and have really enjoy thier versatility. Do they provide as much efficiency as a longer controlled bore? I doubt it but it gives a better initial paintball to barrel diameter fittup based on your preferences (over bore/under bore) than a barrel by itself. The minor efficiency gains and reduction of rollouts in a small bore control kit makes the python/ iFit kits worth it to me especially on stock class markers, closed bolt markers, short barrel applications like on my Sydarm, and being able to use my favorite barrels on multiple marker platforms without having to source and pack additional said barrels in various threads. Are there better barrel/bore kits for specific attributes? Sure? But like 99% of things in paintball, its a matter of preference and what you can justify. My 2 cents.

I got one of these to try out and suprisingly I might order a second to have as a spare/just to have

For the most part I've used it with my mags and has performed pretty well, not a fan of the AC lasering on it but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ for 40$ it was a damn good price

Thanks for the feedback and first hand experience.

Dam those seams good ... specially for the price ...

I might go for it ... I have a few python insert and contacted Victor (from Python) to get some adapters a few missing sizes ...

So good for rollout, but not much more?

I also recommend that barrel kit.

Go for it. It is just a tiny "freak" back that uses normal barrels as a front. It put life back into some old AC barrels that arent able to be bored.

My go to insert kit is the Freak kit, but I have a python kit in AC threads I use when I want to run my old school Dye aluminum barrel. Its an absolute must if i am running one of my cockers , but on my open bolt guns, it helps with the consistency at the chrono.

Personally , efficiency is not a concern of mine with all day air at the fields I frequent.

The python kit at Tech T also has a big selection of adapters, which is cool, and the kits themselves are very compact too. I think its a no brainer to just keep a set in your gearbag for when needed.

I mainly run a Freak kit but I have two Techt kits, Autococker and Tippmann threaded. The are perfect for older barrels as others have mentioned. I have one for my TIPX as well. Just another nice option to have in the tool kit.
