What do you shoot out of your havoc?

Hello MCB,

Like the title says, What do you shoot out of your havoc?
I have an idea for a little project, but im not quite sure which way to go ...
Some "40mm" "rocket" are actually 50mmOD, so maybe this way ... but thought i would ask the expert out there ...

example are (no affiliation to teh store):
- Nerf N-Sports Pocket Aero Flyer Football (Fits 40mm Airsoft Grenade launcher) - ONE
- eBalls for Airsoft 40mm Gas Powered Shell Grenade Launchers

Low cost option:
- Nerf N-Strike Elite Series

But maybe this is the better way to go?
- Customized Football Rocket

Also, are those legit for field use?

The nerf pocket aero flyers fit nicely if you trim the fins a bit. Based on other pricing I have seen the evike store seems to have the best pricing for them right now.

the KNA rockets work great if you can find them. They are having supply issues right now so there is no telling if and when they will be available.

The Garcia rockets worked great but I do not think anyone is making them right now.

the m-29 are too small for a havoc unless you make a barrel sleeve to reduce your ID.

the other 2 options you posted up will be destroyed but the havoc. It has a very violent firing cycle and tends to rip things apart.

So is the havoc 40 or 50mm bore?

The havoc is 2 inch bore so closer to 50. The barrels i make for them are 51 mm.

This is to try to fit it on a different platform ... I know some people got A5 to shoot those, was gonna try it ... See how far it can't go 😅

I have a small horde of garcia rockets, but I usually obsess about retrival. They shoot amazingly. I wish I knew who had the molds im sure we can get foam now.

Last I checked it was Jacob Neg Ray. But I also thougut Flounder may have had them til his post above..

I dont do the facebook anymore, but if hes willing to either sell the molds, or sell rockets. Id be in for a MCB bulk buy. I know Bryon 3d printed the molds. So Jacob may let someone like xenom print new sets.

Iknow a few local guys who would bulk buy with me to really pump them numbers up.

What foam is used for them?

I dont know, its a 2 part mixture. Last I talked to Jacob he couldnt find the materials to make the foam. Last night I hit him up, and he said hes trying to get it going again. I had the chance to buy the recipe and molds from bryon but I wasnt fast enough to it. Id share the design with the community if I owned it.

I shoot only 2" nerf or KNA football rockets. I am not sure how that rocket from 4allpromos would work because it is listed as 2 1/2 wide. I would suggest checking with the field owners and/or game coordinator on what is allowed. If I was a field owner or game coordinator, I wouldn't allow anything not commercially produced.

The super cheap way is to get a toilet paper tube, stuff it full of plastic shopping bags and wrap it in tape to fit the barrel.
