What did I do? Was it worth it?

So on impulse I bought a gear bag sale off a former player. To me it LOOKED like a good deal, but I am asking the experts here as value of markers and equipment tends to escape me.

According to the seller, all equipment was purchased in 2012 and used for a few years before being put away for good. ALL markers have their original boxes, manuals and from the factory parts and accessories

Sly S12 pro merc bag
Original Empire Axe in dust black LNIB Planet Eclipse Etek4 LT in green digicam LNIB
Dangerous Power G4 in Frost White with blue accents LNIB
Dangerous Power E1 in sunset orange LNIB

Dye rotor, black with red accents, 2 speed feeds, original lid and NIB accent color pack. Shows almost no use

Halo too with clear shell, no cracks or chips but well used

New but no box black and grey EVents with extra lens
2 JT Flex8 full head masks

4 tanks, all 4500s born in 2012 and out of hydro

1 crossfire 50 with Npro slp
1 "air tank" label with standard guerilla reg

1 spare standard Ninja reg
Loads of oils, grease, fog juice, orings, tools

Box full of soft goods, jerseys, scenario gear, pants, pads, gloves

I guess I'm just asking for reinforcement as to having made a good purchase.

Alot of this will end up on the BST here so trying to also get an idea of what's a fair price.

Really rough guess: if you spent under $1k, I'd say it was a good deal.

Also, if you want to be relieved of the Etek or the dangerous power markers, let me know 😉

If you count my tolls and gas (40ish) I still spent quite a bit under 1k. I'm on the fence about the Etek4, I want to play with it to see if it is any good. The DPs I am willing to part with. All markers power on, noids click as they should and no leaks. I have not dry fired any of them. My only "electro" currently is a TM15, which is I've read is same internals as the mini, so I guess very similar to the axe. I did have a Spyder EPilot that I never used. I'm mostly used to pumps and tips. Not sure if I'm going to like the feel.

I think you got a decent deal. Not a steal in my mind, but not bad at all and you couldn't certainly make your money back plus some. I've always liked the orange DP guns.

Any idea on the individual value of each of the markers and masks? I don't like the masks myself, prefer my I3 and profiler, and I may keep one of the JT for the occasional nephew or grandchild. Also I will be ditching 2 of the tanks, keeping one of each. The bag is really high quality though, think that's going to replace my old Redz.

The Frost White G4 really shines, and that orange E1 is a sweet color. Just neither one have I ever even considered. I have always wondered how much better it would feel to carry a normal electro in a scenario with the less weight but same characteristics as my tm15.

I do not, electros are not really in my knowledge wheelhouse. As others have said take the JT stuff to FB and you may see some higher numbers. The bag is very nice, I have a similar one. The Axe would feel very similar to the tm15 I reckon

Used retail it's like $500 I Markers.... Tanks are a loss because you'll get maybe 100 each but you'll have to rehydro them at $40 ish each

If you use facebook at all, take those JT masks to the JT appraisal pages. I'm awful on their value but older JT gear can fetch some interestingly high numbers.

On a side note, if you are looking to sell either the etek or the axe let me know. I've been talking with a guy who is looking at those two markers specifically
