The "PMI ACI Trracer Tagmaster" Questions

Long story short, I went to grab two JT masks from the local classifieds and ended up being given more along with them. This Tagmaster included.

I've seen the Tagmaster since forever. Funny that it's called the "Trracer Tagmaster" and has both PMI and ACI logos, never noticed that. It's in great shape and the pump stroke feels better than any Phantom I've touched. Super light marker as well!

I think the bolt is adjustable, looks like it is hex shaped in there. I imagine Phantom springs could work, and I've even heard Autococker springs can be used, may just need to do some trimming. Anything else cross-compatible with these?

Edit: This has the Eurogrip, not lone star. I know Euro bottomline adapters exist (sugarstump recently sold one damn it). I also know I could throw on a Lonestar or 45 frame.

Looks like the barrel OD is much too thin for Freak boring, gonna need some freedummy detents.

I know next to nothing about these other than I own one. Picked it up with a bunch of gear. Haven’t figured out how to get the pump rod off the bottom or if the barrel is even removable. Thinking it may end up a Walzmas item for later this year….

I can’t seem to slide the pump off though. I can pop the pump rod out of groove and the pump feels like it hits something and won’t slide off.

It’s hitting the retaining ring on the barrel. You have to remove the barrel first.

I’ll have to break out the strap wrench the because that barrel won’t budge! I did go through the internals though and it shoots.

The barrel unscrews and is the same threads as the Trracer/Maverick. The rods are actually one piece of bent wire and can only be removed if you pull off the grip frame.

These are unbelievably smooth markers and are superior to the regular Trracer IMHO
